Introduction to Hispanic Literature
SPAN 320 - Introduction to Hispanic Literature3 hours The primary objective of this course is to teach students to read critically. Written texts will include selections from prose, fiction (both novel and short story), poetry, theatre, and essays from Spanish and Spanish American literature. Students will be introduced to literary terminology in Spanish and to the analysis of a variety of textual strategies.
Prerequisite(s): SPAN 301 or consent of instructor.This course will satisfy the literature core area requirement.
