History and Systems of Psychology
PSYC 440 - History and Systems of Psychology3 hours Where did psychology come from? What are its roots and evolution? Where is it going? This course will cover the historical development of the major psychological theories and systems. Such areas as psychoanalysis, behaviorism, and the cognitive revolution will be covered. This course satisfies the capstone requirement for the psychology major.
Prerequisite(s): Twenty-one hours of psychology credit, junior or senior standing, and PSYC 290 and PSYC 291 .
