History and Philosophy of Early Childhood Education
ECED 301 - History and Philosophy of Early Childhood Education3 hours In this course, candidates focus on the historical and philosophical aspects of early childhood education and special education as related to contemporary society. Candidates study key individuals, movements, and curricula, and apply a multicultural and inclusive approach to the study of both formal and informal education of all young children. Candidates apply theory to practice through 10 clinical hours.
Prerequisite(s): EDUC 200 and admission to the Teacher Education program.
