CHEM 101 - General Chemistry3 hours , 1 hourIntroductory chemistry course intended primarily for nutrition sciences majors, pre-nursing students, and non-science majors. This course is particularly suited for those who wish to fulfill the general liberal arts requirement in science by increasing their interest in and concern for the relationship of chemistry to life and society. Includes lecture (3 hours) and laboratory (1 hours). Students in degree programs who have not already completed the laboratory must take the lecture and laboratory concurrently; laboratory requires concurrent enrollment in the lecture.
