“Finance professionals with solid spreadsheet and critical thinking skills make good money and
create opportunities for advancement. Exceptional students with an intuitive understanding of
finance get promoted into leadership positions where their ability to think strategically is highly
valued. In the current business environment, where ethics are under the microscope, financial
managers must lead by example. Our finance program addresses all of these issues and will help
motivated students develop these skills.”
- Robert Irons
In addition to his academic writings, Robert has written a supplemental textbook on how to solve word problems in finance. Robert and his wife Sue live in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and have two daughters, two sons, and a dog. In his spare time, Robert enjoys reading, watching movies, and playing chess.
