Steve Harrington teaches financial accounting and tax courses at the undergraduate and graduate
levels. He began his career at Price Waterhouse and subsequently served as CFO for a closely-held
business for 10 years before joining Dominican in 1997.
Steve has won various teaching awards at Dominican and coordinates student participation in
the Tax Assistance Program, a not-for-profit organization devoted to preparing tax returns for
low-income families throughout Chicago.
In addition to teaching, Steve regularly publishes tax articles in various practitioner
journals and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American
Accounting Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
