Anne Drougas has been teaching at Dominican since 1998 and has numerous publications, on topics ranging from applied finance (investment strategies and financial forecasting) to applied statistics (inferential hypothesis testing and pedagogical spreadsheet applications). At the University of Illinois at Chicago, she worked on several grants, including an NBER sponsored initiative on rational addictions and the economics of smoking. Her main areas of interest are real estate analysis, financial planning, sports economics and statistical analysis. She is completing her fourth year as a member of the Board of Directors for the Academy of Business Education and was twice awarded BSB's Excellence in Teaching Award.

Drougas’ hobbies include golf, Sudoku, bicycling, the Chicago Bears, and reading Sherlock Holmes.
