"You Can’t Take It with You” - or Can You? Christian and Muslim Perspectives on Economics and Transcendence

This roundtable, drawn from a Dominican University study group, explores the relationship between economic matters—banking practices, wealth and poverty, consumption and consumerism—and the fundamental religious beliefs of Christianity and Islam about transcendence—divine judgment and mercy, heaven, paradise, the “Kingdom of God.”
